Thank you dear! I started out at an small agency that did both so I have never thought of them as separate. They have always been hand-in-hand in my book.
Just apparently not the standard across the industry and very much not explained to the clients who need help with their online presence.
It's been working out pretty well for me. I say I do "wholistic" web design. It paints a better picture to my clients. They don't have to go to a separate agency to get SEO, they can get the full picture with me :)
I "played" at this for a number of years. Very rare was the person that could do both. Much luck, Chelsey!
